Report: Tua Tagovailoa takes major step towards returning from injury for Miami Dolphins

According to a report, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw on Monday.

Moreover, head coach Brian Flores is optimistic that the quarterback will be able to practice this week.

Tagovailoa is reportedly itching to return from his rib injury. As of roughly a week ago, he was reportedly on track to make his return in Week 6.

Time will tell if he does end up returning this week. The youngster hasn’t played since Week 2, and the Dolphins haven’t won a game without him.

Before going on the shelf, Tagovailoa had completed just 54.8 percent of his passes for 215 yards and a touchdown. However, he got the job done for Miami in a Week 1 win against the New England Patriots.

The Dolphins are 1-4 on the season, and if they want to get back in the playoff mix, they could use a little boost. Perhaps Tagovailoa’s return will provide that.
