Although Howard is just 28 years of age, he is already building a solid resume. He has been named twice to the Pro Bowl and has led the league in interceptions twice.
The 2020 season was his finest yet, as he tallied 10 interceptions and 20 passes defended, both league highs.
Just weeks ago, it appeared that the Texas native was not going to remain in South Florida, as he demanded a trade. Luckily, the Dolphins restructured his contract to keep him in the fold.
Miami holds high hopes for the 2021 season. The organization is high on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as he enters his second season, while many have big expectations for rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
The Dolphins have not made the playoffs since the 2016 season and have not won a postseason game since 2000.
