Report: Miami Dolphins unlikely to trade No. 6 pick
- Updated: April 21, 2021

Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier seems content with Miami having the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Miami already moved back from the No. 3 spot in a deal with the San Francisco 49ers and then acquired the No. 6 overall pick in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
"When we made our move we had targeted a number of players we like….We're very comfortable where we are, but we'll always evaluate it," Dolphins Chris Grier on owning pick No. 6. "We feel good where we are and we won't have any regrets."

The Dolphins are in prime position to draft one of this year’s best playmakers, as tight end Kyle Pitts, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and wide receiver DeVonta Smith all could be in play at No. 6.
The Dolphins already bolstered their receiving corps by signing Will Fuller this offseason in free agency.
Grier has another first-round pick at his disposal at No. 18, so he may want to keep the team at No. 6 to get the best player available before deciding to make a trade.
