Report: Isaiah Ford returning to Miami Dolphins after short stint with New England Patriots
- Updated: December 8, 2020

The Miami Dolphins had traded wide receiver Isaiah Ford to the New England Patriots earlier this season for a conditional draft pick.
Ford was released by the Patriots and is reportedly returning to Miami.
Isaiah Ford is coming back to Miami after a quick cup of coffee in NE. He could help Miami in the slot again depending on how Malcolm Perry/Lynn Bowden handle the role in coming weeks. https://t.co/sjUrYVWexi

During his time with the Dolphins this season, Ford has recorded 18 receptions for 184 yards.
The 24-year-old struggled to find playing time with the Patriots and did not record a reception while he was with the team.
Now, Ford will compete for slot receiver snaps again in Miami.
The Dolphins are currently 8-4 and in the thick of the playoff race in the AFC.
While Miami had traded Ford to give more looks to Lynn Bowden Jr. and Malcolm Perry, Ford could push the two youngsters for snaps down the stretch of this season.
