Miami Dolphins CB Xavien Howard issues scary warning for quarterbacks across NFL
- Updated: November 21, 2020

The Miami Dolphins defense has been much improved in the 2020 season and a big reason for that has been the play of star cornerback Xavien Howard.
Howard, 27, has already picked off five passes this season. After an injury-riddled 2019 campaign, Howard has looked like his old self this year.
As he closes in on his career-high of seven interceptions in a single season, Howard issued a warning to the rest of the NFL about his play.
“It changed the momentum. I feel like I’m just getting better,” Howard said. “I wouldn’t put myself as saying that this is the best football I’ve been playing. I think it’s probably two years [ago] with seven [interceptions in 2018], so I’ll just keep on going, just trying to strive for the best.”
The Dolphins are currently 6-3 and have had one of the best turnaround in the NFL this season.
After going 5-11 during the 2019 campaign, Miami has looked like a whole new team on defense, as it has had four games in which opponents have scored less than 20 points.
Riding a five-game winning streak, Howard and the Dolphins will look to stay hot in their Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
