Report: Multiple key defenders mysteriously absent from Miami Dolphins practice
- Updated: November 12, 2020

The Miami Dolphins reportedly were missing two key defenders at Thursday’s practice.
Rookie defensive lineman Raekwon Davis and second-year defensive lineman Christian Wilkins both were absent from today’s session.
What makes the absences strange is that neither player appeared on Wednesday’s injury report.
Christian Wilkins and Raekwon Davis missing from Dolphins practice, per today's Dolphins pool reporter @gunnerhal. A mystery, because neither on injury report yesterday.

It is a concerning development for Miami, as both Wilkins and Davis have started multiple games this season.
Wilkins, 24, has started six games this season. He has recorded 28 tackles, one sack and an interception this year.
As for Davis, he has started four of Miami’s eight contests in 2020. The rookie has totaled 14 tackles so far this year.
Miami is currently 5-3 on the season and has a big matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday.
The Dolphins are 2-0 since they turned to rookie Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, but will need their defense to be healthy if they want to contain a talented Chargers offense.
