Dolphins Defenders Hilariously React to Cam Newton’s Claim That They Tried to Snatch His Chain
- Updated: September 14, 2020
New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton claimed that Miami Dolphins defenders were trying to snatch his chain in the Patriots 21-11 victory over Miami on Sunday.
Newton was making his debut for New England and seems to already be getting into it with one of its rivals.
However, Dolphins defensive end Shaq Lawson was just one of the players who disputed Newton’s claims.
Dolphins players commented on Cam’s Instagram talking about his chain.
Patriots QB said “the College Park almost came out of me” when they tried to take it 🤣

The Dolphins’ defense was solid on Sunday, but the offense struggled as Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed three interceptions in the loss.
Newton did get the last laugh against Miami, as he ran for a pair of touchdowns on the day.
The former league MVP threw for just 155 yards, but he killed the Dolphins on the ground, as he tallied 15 carries for 75 yards.
It’ll be interesting to see if there is still bad blood between the two teams when they match up again in December.
