DeVante Parker Shows Support for Cam Newton’s Strong Message to Haters
- Updated: July 7, 2020

Newly signed New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has made it clear that he is determined to get back at all the people who have doubted him over the last few seasons.
While Miami Dolphins fans were not ecstatic to see their division rivals sign the former MVP, Dolphins stud receiver DeVante Parker made it clear that he supports Newton’s comeback.
Last season, Newton played only two games before being sidelined for the remainder of his final season with the Carolina Panthers.
However, the previous season, he enjoyed a fairly solid year.
In 2018, Newton passed for 3,395 yards and threw 24 touchdowns. He had a passer rating of 94.2.
Of course his best season came in 2015 when he won the NFL MVP. He passed for 3,837 yards and 35 touchdowns along with 636 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns that season.
With Newton, the Patriots have a quarterback who has the potential to be a total game-changer every week.
While Parker clearly wants to see the star gunslinger enjoy a resurgence, he’s surely more interested in building off of his own breakout campaign last year and helping the Dolphins earn a playoff spot.
