Miami Dolphins News: Dolphins Announce 4 Roster Cuts

1 Min Read

One day after the conclusion of the 2020 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins announced on Sunday the release of four players from their offseason roster.

None of the players were expected to have an impact during the upcoming season, with some of the Dolphins draftees expected to serve as replacements.

Linebacker Terrill Hanks spent last season as a member of the Dolphins practice squad after being released by the team.

In the case of safety Montre Hartage, he spent last season on both the practice and active rosters for the Dolphins. Playing in four games, he finished with eight tackles and had one pass deflection.

Long snapper Taybor Pepper has bounced around the league since 2016 and spent last season on the Dolphins’ practice squad. His status with the team was likely decided on Saturday after Miami selected Louisiana State University Blake Ferguson in the draft.

Running back Samaje Perine was signed in the final weeks of last year’s regular season and placed on the practice squad.
