On Wednesday night, friends and former University of Alabama teammates Tua Tagovailoa and Jerry Jeudy had a conversation and played video games while streaming on Instagram Live.

Miami Dolphins fans who tuned in saw Tagovailoa wearing a jacket with an all-too-familiar color scheme.

The color choice had some fans wondering if Tagovailoa was trying to send a message about his NFL future.

As the NFL draft approaches, Dolphins fans have made it clear that they prefer Tagovailoa over University of Oregon product Justin Herbert.

Given Tua’s career at Alabama, their preference is not all that surprising. Tagovailoa enjoyed one of the most successful college careers in recent memory.

On top of that, his quickness on the field and split-second decision-making have made him a tantalizing pro prospect.

However, a major issue that has given some NFL teams pause is his injury history. Tagovailoa’s final collegiate season was cut short when he suffered a serious hip injury.

In all, he suffered five notable injuries during his time at Alabama.

Though his most recent injury has reportedly healed entirely, the fear that he could be injury prone has led some teams to reportedly leave the star quarterback off of their draft boards entirely.

Still, if Tagovailoa can stay healthy at the next level, he seems to have all the tools necessary to become a franchise quarterback and major star.

With just a few hours left before the NFL draft begins, many Dolphins fans are surely hoping that Tagovailoa ends up in Miami.

Only time will tell if his fashion choice on Wednesday night was a subliminal message or just a bit of coincidence.
