Timmons was originally suspended indefinitely by Dolphins head coach Adam Gase after he went missing just one day before the team’s opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
After a successful 10-year stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Timmons joined the Dolphins this offseason when he signed a two-year, $12 million deal. Now, Timmons will get the chance to put the tumultuous start of his season behind him and prove that he was worth the contract.
